Future Projects

The Des Moines “I Have a Dream” Foundation is currently on track to adopt a new class of first grade Dreamers in the fall of 2013. We are currently working with administrators from the Des Moines Public School District and Drake University to identify the elementary school with the biggest need for our programming.

Our vision for the future of the organization includes expanding our reach while maintaining a focus on long-term, concentrated efforts. Our staff, board members and a community steering team, are exploring ideas that will position us to make an even bigger impact on the greater Des Moines community.
